2011: Julie Davis

Congrats to Julie Davis for being our employee of the year!

Julie serves as Dennis Stark's secretary and is a case readiness writer. She celebrated her 32-year anniversary in June and is the epitome of the firm's core values. She says her favorite thing about her job is her coworkers.

Over the years, Julie has been and continues to be an integral and dedicated employee at our law firm.

"Julie has tremendous skills and is excellent with clients," Dennis Stark said. "She builds lasting relationships with her clients, who feel comfortable to trust and rely on her completely."

Employee of the Month

May 2012: Stephanie Bartlett

Stephanie is the probate paralegal and Tom Newlin’s personal secretary. She handles all estates, guardianships, adoptions, small claims, and business matters. She has been with the law firm for 14 years and, since she was a teenager, her dream job has been to work in a law firm.

Most of the clients she helps are dealing with the worst part of their lives. She said it gives her a sense of purpose to help them during the difficult and emotional times.

"Stephanie is such an important part of our law firm and we'd be lost without her,” her coworker said. “She does so much around here and is very knowledgeable about so many things. She is such an asset here!"

April 2012: Lindsey Ames Sanquenetti

Lindsey has been with the firm for more than eight years and is the Human Resources and IT Manager. She interviews potential new hires, holds new hire orientations, performs exit interviews, and addresses all staff concerns and IT issues. She says her favorite part of her job is getting to know her coworkers.

“She has had A LOT of extra work lately and has handled it all with a great attitude!” Lindsey’s coworker said.

March 2012: Jessica Manning

Jessica Manning is an Intake Specialist and has been with the firm for 10 months. She takes new calls from potential clients, collects their information, and works with attorneys to review their disability information. She enjoys helping clients and talking to people from around the country. She also thinks her coworkers are wonderful and says Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin is great place to work.

“Jessica came in as a top performer and has stayed that way,” said one of her coworkers. “The first month she was here, she was No.1 for calls and has stayed consistently in the top three ever since. She’s always pleasant, always friendly, and a top notch employee.”

February 2012: Lacey Webster

Lacey Webster is the Social Security intake department production director, where she assists intake specialists, serves as the point of contact for partner law firms, and generates weekly and monthly reports. She tries to help everyone whenever necessary. She has been with the firm for three years and loves everything about her job.

“Lacey always lends a helping hand and she assists the File Department daily,” said one of her coworkers.

January 2012: Angie Karr

Congratulations to Angie Karr for being chosen as January's Employee of the Month! As a scheduling specialist, she schedules Social Security Disability hearings for our law firm. She has been with the law firm since July 2010, and her favorite thing about working at the firm is her coworkers.

December 2011: Chelsea Fitzgerald

Congratulations to Chelsea Fitzgerald, a Level 2 Case Manager, who has been with the firm for a little more than a year. Her favorite thing about working here is being able to help people.

“She does everything with a smile and still finds time to volunteer and help others around the office,” one of her coworkers said.

November 2011: Jessica Smith

Jessica, a file department specialist, has been at the firm for five years where she prepares files for the case managers and loves knowing that the firm is helping clients every day.

“Jessica is a great worker with a great attitude,” said one of Jessica’s coworkers. “She works really hard not to miss a day of work and is always willing to help fellow coworkers. She is a valuable team player within the department.”

October 2011: Beth Roberts

Beth Roberts is the assistant intake department manager, file department supervisor, purchasing manager, and facility and maintenance manager. She’s been with FSTN for four years, and she loves knowing that no day at work is ever the same.

“She has ALWAYS been there to help out when needed,” said one of Beth’s coworkers. “Beth not only runs the file department, but took on the responsibility of property manager, and I believe she has done a wonderful job. I am very glad to have her as my coworker and even more so to have her as my friend.”

September 2011: Brook Hartman

Congratulations to Brooke Hartman, our September Employee of the Month!

Brooke is a case manager and has been with the firm for one year. She is responsible for talking with her clients on a daily basis and following up on medical records requests. She enjoys working at FST&N because she loves to help others.

"She is so helpful to her clients and is very helpful to anyone working on her files, like attorneys or other departments,” said one of Brooke’s coworkers. “Her files are organized, she is always friendly, and I honestly don't think I’ve ever seen anything other than a smile on her face. Brooke has a true Clients First attitude!”

August 2011: Ted Hamelmann

Congratulations to Ted Hamelmann, our August Employee of the Month!

Ted is our Manager of Finance and manages the accounting department, which is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll. Ted has been with FSTN for 16 years and enjoys working with staff members who are friendly, competent, and dedicated to the values of the Firm.

“He represents the core values of our firm and embraces the Clients’ First attitude,” explained one of Ted’s coworkers. “He is slow to speak and quick to listen. The firm would be a better place if we were all a little more like Ted.”

July 2011: Brandon Bennett

Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Brandon Bennett! Brandon has been at the firm for a little more than a year and serves as an accounting assistant, where he handles accounts receivable and payable as well as financial reports for the firm.

“He is always very friendly and professional, and quick to respond if you need something,” one of Brandon’s coworkers said. “He always helps if we’re moving stuff around, or we need help lifting something heavy!”

June 2011: Tasha Brown

Congratulations to Tasha Brown for being our June Employee of the Month! She’s been with the law firm for more than two years and works as a case manager and team leader.

“Tasha has had more personal and professional growth than just about any employee in the last year, and she has shown to be great at whatever job she is doing in our firm,” said one of her coworkers. “This shows she is truly dedicated and committed to Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin!”

May 2011: Leah Randolph

Congratulations to Leah Randolph for being named our May Employee of the Month! As the team leader for Social Security case managers, she maintains a 90-file caseload and requests records for all hearings scheduled for her team. Leah has been with the firm for two years and enjoys being able to help people who truly deserve it. She says she loves working with everyone at the firm and has become inspired her to further her education and become an attorney herself!

Here’s what Leah’s coworkers have to say:

Julie’s coworkers feel the same way about her. In fact, her coworkers say she’s the epitome of the firm’s core values and that she’s been a loyal employee for many years and has always been willing to help other employees even when it involved another department.

March 2011: Crystal Riley

Congratulations to Crystal Riley on being our March Employee of the Month! Crystal helps our case managers with overflow work when they are out of the office. She has been working for Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin for close to two years. Her favorite thing about working for our firm is interacting with her coworkers.

Crystal’s coworkers voted for her because:

She is a WONDERFUL person! She is willing to go above and beyond for anyone who needs help.
She is always willing to help others out.
Crystal is awesome! She helps out the Yellow and Green teams a lot and is always positive!
Crystal is my hero. There is never a day when she does not help us all tremendously. She is always even keel and pleasant, and she is very knowledgeable. I aspire to be just like her!

February 2011: Christa Pierce

Congrats to Christa Pierce on being our February employee of the month! Christa is our public relations manager and has been at the firm for two years. She loves getting involved with the community through the firm’s ongoing volunteer and charity efforts.

Her coworkers have plenty of wonderful things to say about her, too:

Christa is a very good employee with a great attitude!

January 2011: Debbie McClain

Debbie McClain, case manger group leader, is our January employee of the month. She's been at the firm for nearly two years and manages hundreds of case files, reviews hearing questions, and ensures everything is in order before going to hearings.

Her coworkers have plenty of wonderful things to say about her, too:

Each and every day, she goes above and beyond to help out her team members as well as any other person at Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin. She has a great attitude, sense of humor, and competitive spirit. She is a real leader.
Debbie is an awesome team leader! She is all about helping us out with anything we may need! She tries her best to help make everything easier for us! Debbie rocks!

December 2010: Michelle Nugent

As a case readiness writer for the firm, Michelle researches clients' medical records and interprets the records in a Letter of Case Readiness, which is then submitted to an administrative law judge for review prior to the client's hearing for Social Security Disability benefits. She also was recently elected to serve on the firm's 2011 Client's 1st Committee.

Michelle, who has been at firm for about a year and a half, is known for her cheerful demeanor, hard work, and dedication to her job. In fact, one her coworkers said, "Michelle is fun to work with, is considerate of others, has a positive attitude, and is very helpful. She is an excellent case readiness writer and an amazing team player who is willing to help anyone."

November 2010: Jessica Dowell

Jessica has been with the law firm for four years and works as a social security trainer, where she trains new employees in the Social Security department to become case managers, medical records requestors, or appeals processors. Nominated by her peers, Jessica received a special parking spot and an engraved photo album.

October 2010: Liz Zeiss Rigollot

As a case manager at the firm, Liz Zeiss Rigollot builds relationships with clients by helping them through the claims process. Liz, who has been at the firm for nearly two years, also speaks English and Spanish, so she's able to translate on behalf of clients and the firm's attorneys.

"I'm very happy to receive the employee of the month award," Liz said. "It makes me appreciate everybody here at the firm and makes me realize that I am doing a good job."

September 2010: Jennifer Fields

Jennifer has been with the firm for three years and trains new employees in the Social Security department to become case managers, medical records requestors, or appeal processors. She, along with two coworkers, educates new employees on the firm’s computer programs, telephones, and chains of command in addition to providing information on Social Security, such as the differences between Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income, and other crucial details about the Social Security Administration.

Nominated by her peers, Jennifer received a reserved parking spot for the month and a special award acknowledging her hard work and dedication to the firm. "She trains all new employees and is very patient with all of the case managers," said one of Jennifer’s coworkers. "She answers any and all questions and is very dependable and loyal. She exemplifies what a true FSTN employee is all about."
