Heather Rogers

Heather M. Rogers was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, and graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School.  She attended Ball State University and was active in Kappa Delta Sorority before returning to Terre Haute to complete her degree.  Heather graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science in the legal studies program.

Heather began working for the law firm of Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin in 2003.  She continued to work there as a Social Security case manager when she began attending law school on an honors scholarship at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  She is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

In 2005, Heather moved to Michigan to complete her law degree.  She completed an internship with the Washtenaw County Public Defender's Office in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2006.  While at the Public Defender's Office, Heather worked with clients at the preliminary examination stage in felony cases.  Heather earned her J.D. with a concentration in administrative law in January 2007.

Heather is admitted to practice law in the State court of North Carolina and the Federal Court of Tennessee. She focuses on Social Security Disability in North Carolina.
