John Wilkinson

John C. Wilkinson was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, where he graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He attended Butler University earning a double major in political  science and history.  Upon completion of  his undergraduate degree, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked on  Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer.

Wishing  to pursue a legal education and return to the Midwest, John attended Southern Illinois  University School of Law earning his law degree in 2006.  At SIU Law, John was a two-year member of the  Moot Court team that competed and won the 2005-2006 ABA New York Regionals.  He and his team went on to place in the top  eight teams in the nation at the ABA National Finals in Chicago later on that  year.  John's moot court experience made  him realize that he wanted to spend his legal career in litigation.
