One killed in Chicago auto accident

One man was killed when his vehicle crashed into a pole on the South Side of Chicago, reported the Chicago Sun Times.

The driver was traveling south on Lake Shore Drive when his vehicle veered off the road and hit a light pole causing the Chicago auto accident.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A female passenger in the Illinois auto accident was taken to Northwest Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

The police are investigating the Chicago car accident. They do not know at this time what caused the vehicle to veer off the road.
