Two injured in Terre Haute auto accident
May 27th, 2010|
The Trib Star reports that two people were injured in a Terre Haute auto accident.
The accident occurred as the Indiana driver was traveling westbound on County Road 1200 North. The car went off the south side of the road, and the driver over corrected. The vehicle then went off the north side of the road and struck a utility pole before coming to a stop in the woods.
The 21-year-old Indiana driver and his passenger were transported to hospitals. The passenger suffered a head trauma, but is listed in stable condition following the Terre Haute auto accident.
Overcorrecting a vehicle is something most Indiana drivers are warned about in driver’s education, but it often happens in the panicked moments of an Indiana auto accident. Do you think driver’s education should be more extensive, or should more real-life simulations be included? Would it have helped prevent an Indiana auto accident like this?
