Woman killed by a Chicago man driving under the influence

A man in lost control of his sports utility vehicle on Highway 57 in a Chicago auto accident and rolled it over into the Interstate ditch.

The front seat passenger in the SUV, a twenty-two-year-old Illinois woman, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead by the State Police later that night.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the driver, who caused the Chicago drunk driving accident, was under the influence of alcohol and cannabis. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and faces several charges, including driving under the influence.

No other vehicles were involved in the fatal Illinois drunk driving accident.
