Politician has reform ideas for Social Security

A South Carolina politician has plans to privatize and eliminate Social Security, according to socialsecuritytoday.com.

The politician says he wants to reform Social Security by leaving retirement savings in the hands of Wall Street by putting investments in personal accounts.

According to the article, the politician also supports a plan with a will reduce Social Security benefits for those 55 years old and younger while also raising the retirement age.
