The Herald Bulletin reports that the Indiana Social Security Disability process is improved due to new technologies. The Social Security Administration became the first federal agency to use the Nationwide Health Information Network. This network will cut the time it takes Social Security to get medical records.
It will cut the time for accessing medical records from weeks and months to just minutes. Although the benefits will be small at first, they will gradually increase to help more people, making the process for applying for Indiana Social Security Disability easier.
