Man injured in Terre Haute motocycle accident

Trib Star reports that a man was airlifted after a Terre Haut motorcyle accident.

The motorcyclist was heading west on Indiana 42 towards Palmer Street when a car from Palmer Street turned left onto Indiana 42 and in the path of the motorcycle.

When the motorcycle driver applied the brakes, he lost control of his motorcycle and it started to skid and the Terre Haute motorcycle accident resulted with the man being thrown off his motorcycle. The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the Terre Haute motorcycle accident.

The man was unconscious when the emergency officials arrived, but gained consciousness when he was being transported to the hospital.

The driver was airlifted to an Indianapolis airport.

The driver of the other vehicle was cited for failing to yield the right of way after the Terre Haute motorcycle accident.

One killed in South Bend motorcycle accident

A town marshal was killed after a vehicle hit his motorcycle in a South Bend auto accident, reports WSBT News.

The man was traveling northbound on Ironwood when he was hit by a car traveling southbound. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after he hit the man in the South Bend motorcycle accident.

The driver of the vehicle drove erratically, veered off the road, and hit a tree. Police report the driver was later caught and taken to Memorial Hospital.

Indianapolis Motorcycle accident kills 12-year-old boy

A 12- year-old boy died Saturday morning in an Indianapolis motorcycle accident, according to the Indianapolis Star.

According to police, the boy was not wearing a helmet and was riding an off-road model not intended for use on city streets when the Indiana motorcycle accident occurred.

According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, a man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, failing to obey police orders and running from police, after causing a Cincinnati motorcycle accident.

The Cincinnati motorcycle accident occurred when the man, who was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, fled a DUI checkpoint and crashed his Cadillac into another car and then into a motorcycle head-on.

The motorcyclist was instantly killed in the Cincinnati motorcycle accident.

The driver who caused the Cincinnati motorcycle accident fled the scene of the Ohio accident and was later turned into the police by his wife.

An Illinois man dies in a Chicago motorcycle accident

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, a Chicago motorcycle accident has left an Illinois man dead.

The motorcyclist crashed into a parked vehicle after hitting a speed bump on a side road in Chicago. The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead later that morning.

Officials on the scene said no one else was injured in the Chicago motorcycle accident.

Two survivors from a Decatur auto accident deal with the loss of loved ones and a slow recovery from spinal cord injuries. The two women were involved in a drunk driving accident involving two cars and a motorcycle. According to the Decatur Herald & Review, the suspected drunk driver and the survivors’ husband and friend, were both killed in the accident.

Both women also suffered severe head trauma along with Decatur spinal cord injuries as a result of the Illinois car accident. The wife of the possible drunk driving victim who died in the accident, is in a neck brace to heal her spinal fractures while the victim’s friend and passenger in the vehicle remains in a local hospital due to crushed and broken vertebrae that caused the Illinois spinal cord injury.

Other victims involved in the car accident also suffered from serious injuries, however, the two women were the only ones who suffered spinal cord injuries.

Illinois State Police are awaiting toxicology reports to determine if alcohol was a factor in the case.
