Man dies in Terre Haute auto accident

WTHI reports one man has died and another was injured in a Terre Haute auto accident.

The Terre Haute auto accident took place when the car the two men were driving in hit a pothole and the driver lost control. The car ran off the road and into a lake a little past midnight in the Terre Haute auto accident.

The driver died during the Terre Haute auto accident, and the passenger was stuck in freezing waters for almost seven hours. The passenger was found once it became light outside.

The Terre Haute auto accident passenger was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for advanced hypothermia.

Police are still investigating the Terre Haute auto accident.
