According to asianjournal.com, the latest telephone scam has targeted the Latino community in California in regards to Social Security.
The Social Security Administration will never ask for your personal information over the telephone. However, a caller is telling beneficiaries that they will be receiving additional Social Security payments, and they request your Social Security number.
The caller claims they need your personal information for the beneficiary to receive the Social Security benefits.
