Qualifying for Indiana Social Security Disability

The Social Security Administration (SSA) uses a five-step process to determine whether or not a person qualifies for Disability benefits.

According to the SSA, a person is considered disabled if he suffered an injury or has a medical condition that prevents him from working and the injury is expected to last for at least one year.

Chicago auto accident injures three, including two paramedics

The Chicago Tribune reported that two paramedics suffered Illinois auto accident injuries Friday when their ambulance collided with another vehicle.

The Chicago car accident happened when the ambulance was responding to an emergency call about 9:20 a.m. The auto accident victims were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was also treated for his auto accident injuries at a local hospital. The ambulance was not carrying a patient at the time of the collision.

One dead, another injured in Ohio auto accident

A man died in an Ohio auto accident when he rear-ended a pickup truck Wednesday evening, according to the Dayton Daily News. The 19-year-old Ohio car accident victim was ejected from his vehicle when it went off the road and hit a utility pole.

The car accident victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck also suffered Ohio auto accident injuries and was taken to the hospital for stabilization.

Young woman dies in Indiana auto accident

A 20-year-old woman died Thursday in an Indiana auto accident when her vehicle crossed the median and struck a tanker truck driving in the opposite direction, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Police are still investigating why the Indiana car accident victim’s car crossed the median. The truck driver did not suffer any car accident injuries.

Illinois drunk driving accident leaves one dead

The News-Gazette reported that a woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle Illinois auto accident. A man who fled the scene was arrested later for drunk driving.

The Illinois car accident victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:30 p.m. She was hit from behind by a pickup truck driven by the man who was arrested on an Illinois DUI charge. The two vehicles sideswiped another car that was driving in the opposite direction.

The Illinois drunk driving victim died of multiple traumatic auto accident injuries.
