FSTN Shows Support for Mothers Against Drunk Driving

It is a well-known fact that drunk driving poses serious risks. In the United States alone, approximately 32 people die from DUI accidents every day. This number does not even begin to account for non-fatal accidents that may permanently alter the lives of those involved. Here at Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin, we are committed to not only providing legal support for victims of drunk driving accidents, but also to promoting local community efforts to eliminate this problem entirely.

Our Support for Mothers Against Drunk Driving

Our team has several personal connections to this cause. Staff member Hunter Marple has been involved in non-fatal motor accidents and has lost two childhood friends because of drunk drivers. Hunter understands the devastating effects drunk drivers can have on others, and volunteers much of his time to support Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). This organization is the nation’s largest non-profit working to end driving under the influence.

Hunter recently participated in the West Central Indiana Walk Like MADD 2022 fundraiser. Supporters gathered in Terre Haute to raise thousands of dollars to promote MADD’s efforts to educate the public and support victims in their recovery. Those interested can donate online, find a Walk Like MADD event near them, or even start a Walk Like MADD initiative of their own. FSTN is a proud sponsor of the West Central Indiana fundraiser and is dedicated to supporting future events that work towards making our community safer.

Preventing Drunk Driving and Aiding Victims

Drunk driving accidents are preventable, and we want to stop them before they happen. During the holiday seasons, FSTN provides free cab rides home in an effort to combat this problem in the Wabash Valley. If you or a friend is considering driving under the influence after enjoying the festivities, we urge you to use our service to avoid risking your own life as well as the lives of others. We also encourage you to follow future community events and programs we participate in as we work together to stop this problem.

An Attorney Could Help After a Drunk Driving Accident

As a leading personal injury firm in Wabash Valley, FSTN is also dedicated to providing legal support to those who have been involved in drunk driving accidents. If a drunk driver has seriously injured you or someone you love, our car accident lawyers are here to support you through the challenges of healing and pursuing compensation.
