FSTN Offers Free Cab Rides Home Program during Holidays

We all like to have fun and celebrate holidays. Americans love to meet and have a great time. Often, having fun and being with our friends and family involves alcohol. We don’t condemn drinking and the use of alcohol. However, partying too much or in the wrong way can result in a tragedy.  Several years ago, FSTN decided drunk driving during holidays was a problem we could help reduce or eliminate.

Originally started by Steve Fleschner, one of our firm’s founders, our free cab rides home program has been helping to improve community safety in the Wabash Valley for over 20 years. If you find that you’ve had too much to drink during one of the qualifying holidays, please use our service instead of risking the safety of you and others by putting yourself behind the wheel. Using our service, you can have a certified driver come directly to you and give you a ride to your home, with the cost being completely covered by us. This program was placed on hold as a precautionary action during COVID-19, but we are excited to announce that it will be returning, starting on the next qualifying holiday! We will be honoring the following holidays for this program:

  • St. Patrick’s Day
  • Cinco de Mayo
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Halloween
  • Thanksgiving Eve & Day
  • New Year’s Eve & Day

As one of the leading personal injury firms in the Wabash Valley, our attorneys regularly see just how impactful DUI’s can be on our community. We have had far too many clients injured or killed by drunk drivers.

Ride-sharing services have been at the forefront of innovation over the past few years, which has significantly broadened the ways we can offer this program. As such, we are still in the process of determining the best way for this program to benefit our community. Luckily, more information on the step-by-step process of how this program works will be released in the weeks to come. For more information on this program and other work we do in the communities we serve, visit our website!
