At Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin, we believe being a local law firm means being part of the community we serve. Supporting local schools, families, and children is one of the ways we can give back to the communities that have supported our firm for so many years.

That’s why we’re excited to announce the winners of our latest Recess Supply Giveaway!

Congratulations to Our Winners!

We’re thrilled to announce that Ouabache Elementary School and Sugar Creek Consolidated Elementary School have been selected as the winners of our latest recess equipment giveaway.

We’ll be reaching out to both schools soon to find out which recess supplies their students need most. Whether it’s balls, playground equipment, games, or other supplies, our goal is to provide resources that give students more opportunities to get outside, play, and have fun together.

Attorney Caleb Fleschner said:

“As a small, local law firm, we get to see firsthand how much our community means to the families and schools around us. We wanted to do something simple that would directly benefit kids, and we’re excited to help these schools put more equipment on the playground for their students to enjoy.”

More Than 150 Nominations From Our Community

The response to this giveaway exceeded our expectations. More than 150 nominations were submitted by members of our local community.

That’s more than 150 people who took the time to nominate a school they care about and help us identify where these supplies could make a difference.

We want to say thank you to everyone who participated.

Your nominations were a wonderful reminder of how many people in our community care about local schools and the children they serve. While we could only select two schools for this giveaway, we were grateful for the opportunity to learn about so many schools doing great work for local students.

Why We Support Local Schools

Recess is an important part of the school day. It gives children an opportunity to step away from the classroom, get moving, play with their friends, and simply be kids.

Something as simple as a new playground ball, jump rope, game, or other piece of recess equipment can give students another way to participate and enjoy their time outside.

As a personal injury law firm, our work often centers around helping people and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. But being a local business is about more than what happens inside our office. It’s also about finding opportunities to make a positive contribution to the community around us.
