The Tribune-Star reports that three people have been arrested in conjunction with a hit-and-run Terre Haute auto accident that killed a 12-year-old boy.
The Terre Haute auto accident happened when the teen was struck by a vehicle as he was walking home from a dance at the Cunot Community Center. The driver fled the scene of the Terre Haute auto accident.
Police said they found the Terre Haute auto accident driver based on a series of tips they received. A woman was charged with failure to return to the scene of a Terre Haute auto accident resulting in death, which is a Class C felony. Her husband and father were also charged with obstruction of justice, a Class D felony, because police say they covered up the damage to her vehicle after the Terre Haute auto accident.
