U. S. Senator Tom Coburn says the federal government has sent more than $1 billion in payments from various programs to dead people over the past 10 years.
According to newsok.com, Sen. Coburn’s report describes payments to the deceased from Social Secuirty, the Agriculture Department, Medicare and Medicaid, and federal programs to help people pay housing and heating bills.
