In a commentary on dailyrecord.com, one man believes the focus needs to be on Social Security benefits for those who live in New Jersey.
According to a recent survey, 90 percent of those who participated said Social Security benefits are very important to them.
He says older Americans are facing high unemployment rates, declining home values and rising health care costs, so more people are relying on Social Security benefits to take care of them rather than retirement.
