Social Security benefits judges often receive threats, but those threats may be taken more seriously since the assassination attempt of Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords, The Washington Post reports.

A woman in Louisiana threatened a Social Security judge when he denied her benefits. She was arrested before she was able to carry out her threat.
