Members of Congress are considering raising the Social Security retirement age to 68 and reduce annual cost-of-living increases, according to lifeandheathinsurancenews.com.
The panel appointed by President Obama wants to come up with ways of reducing the federal deficit, and reforming Social Security was a priority.
