A Terre Haute Car Accident that occurred recently was responsible for leaving three people with serious injuries. WIBQ News stated the crash occurred at around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of 13th Street and College Avenue in the downtown district of the city on Wednesday, February 13.
Reports indicate a yellow taxi van had stopped along the street with a group of customers in the vehicle. While the van was stopped though, a pickup truck failed to come to a halt behind the van and plowed into its rear-end.
The impact of the collision left one of the passengers in the taxicab with severe head trauma, while the driver of the cab suffered several deep lacerations to his leg. They were each rushed to a local hospital to receive treatment. A passenger in the pickup truck was also injured and taken to a trauma center to be examined further.
