Terre Haute Community Events Make Great Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

Valentines Day is right around the corner and there are always a few lovers out there who, for some reason or another, may have failed to make plans for the evening with their significant others. The community calendar for MyWabashValley News shows that on Valentine’s Day, beginning at 5:30 p.m., the Indiana State University Institute for Community Sustainability is holding a “From the Garden” sustainable cooking course. Participants will learn to prepare, preserve, and brew food and drink in a more earth-friendly manner.

After that, a fund raising Valentine’s Day Dance is being held from 7-9 p.m. at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church. All proceeds from the event will be used to fund an upcoming mission trip to El Salvador. Spread the love by helping a good cause while waltzing or doing the foxtrot with your special someone!
