Terre Haute Personal Injury Lawyers Donate to 2014 Komen Race for the Cure

A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every two minutes in the United States. The disease alters millions of lives and there is currently no way to prevent it. That’s why the Terre Haute personal injury lawyers are proud to support an organization that’s working to find a cure for breast cancer.

Our firm recently sponsored a team that took part in the 2014 Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday at Indiana State Memorial Stadium. Participants were asked to donate or collect donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a national leader in breast cancer research. Those who collected donations then participated in either a 5K run or a one mile walk.

Our team had a successful showing at this year’s event, raising a total of $841.22 for this wonderful cause.

Even though the race is over, it’s never too late to donate to breast cancer research. The Susan G. Komen Foundation collects funds year-round to help put an end to breast cancer.

At Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin, giving back to the community is part of the foundation our firm is built upon. You can learn more about other ways we give by taking a look at our Facebook or Twitter pages.
