WTHI-TV reports that two teens were killed in a Terre Haute truck accident.
The accident occurred when the vehicle the teens were riding in crossed the intersection of SR 63 and Bolton Road into the path of a semi.
According to the police report, the truck driver could not slow down in time to avoid hitting the vehicle.
The driver of the car and one passenger were airlifted to the hospital to be treated for internal injuries suffered in the Terre Haute truck accident. Two passengers in the vehicle were killed at the scene of the Terre Haute truck accident.
Do you think it would be safer if trucks were only permitted to travel on interstates? Is it dangerous for other vehicles to have them on smaller roads?
